Phenomenology and Nursing is a research project and public engagement initiative run by Dan Zahavi and Anthony Fernandez, based in the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Oxford.
Phenomenology offers a rich theoretical and conceptual understanding of human existence. Our project aims to develop new tools to understand patient experience and facilitate the use of phenomenology in nursing and allied health professions, including in qualitative health care research and clinical practice. We will run our next workshop in Copenhagen, May 4–6, 2020. Registration is now closed. For more information on the project, check out our About page.
